OCHR.Org in the Community

April 2024

In the Spring of 2024,  We helped Jason (St. Petersburg, FL) gain employment, find housing, and navigate the court process to reunify with his son. Jason needed the guidance and education to feel empowered, rather than thinking it wasn’t possible. Jason’s court hearing took place, and while noticing the hard work and dedication, his judge ruled in his favor to reunify him with his son. Jason credits Greg, Jake & OCHR.Org for making this possible, as he “finally got reunification”.

It’s real-life success stories like Jason’s that Greg & Jake were inspired to create when they launched OCHR.Org. As we continue to move OCHR’s mission forward, we kindly ask that you consider making a financial contribution to support our mission, so we can help more children by assisting more parents achieve successful outcomes: https://www.ourchildrenhaverights.org/

On Friday, March 1st Greg joined Jeffrey Steiner, Executive Director with the Dads’ Resource Center, for an interview titled “How Unmarried Fathers Can Get Fair Child Custody”.   Greg shared his insights on achieving a more favorable child custody & co-parenting outcome in court.

An underlying takeaway is the importance of parents being better educated on the legal process.  Education empowered Greg to achieve a favorable outcome.  And that lived experience sparked the formation of Our Children Have Rights.  To learn more about the Dads’ Resource Center visit https://dadsrc.org/.
