A Coalition of Caring

Our member agencies care for over 50,000 children and families in crisis each year, providing critical services and programs to this vulnerable population throughout the state. Some of these services include residential and group home care, emergency shelters, residential treatment centers, counseling, foster family services, adoption services, early intervention and prevention programs, and various in-home support services. They also support those who have aged out of the foster care system and are utilizing the state’s independent living program.

Our Mission

The mission of the Florida Coalition for Children (FCC) is to advocate on behalf of Florida’s abused, abandoned, neglected, and at-risk children, and to support the agencies and individuals who work on their behalf.

The vision of the Coalition is to see a system of child welfare in Florida that is fully resourced, well managed, and fulfills the needs of Florida’s vulnerable children and families.

Florida Coalition for Children Foundation

The Florida Coalition for Children Foundation (FCCF) is the education, training, and research arm of the Florida Coalition for Children. The primary educational and training activity of the Foundation is the FCC Annual Conference which is the premier child welfare professional development event in Florida. Professionals at any level – from CEOs to Case Managers – will find something of interest at the FCC Annual Conference.

Other events hosted by the FCC Foundation include the annual Rally in Tally, where foster parents, child welfare providers and legislators come together to advocate on behalf of Florida’s abused, abandoned, neglected and at-risk children, and those who work on their behalf.
