Jake Hornstein

Co-Founder & Executive Director

Jake is the Co-Founder & Executive Director, a role he has held since January 2021.  He oversees daily operations, marketing & media, programming and works closely with the Board of Directors.

Jake also leads Partnerships, where he focuses on key initiatives including the Single Parent Workforce Initiative with Evara Health Institute, CONNECTING H.O.P.E with Cornerstone Connections and the FL Department of Revenue, and technical training programs such as AmSkills.

He brings a wealth of experience from the private sector, having served as Senior Manager, Sales & Service, Corporate Partnerships with the Tampa Bay Rays Major League Baseball Club from 2011 - 2020.   

In 2020, Jake turned to public policy, working as Deputy Campaign Manager for FL State House Representative Linda Chaney.

Jake brings valuable nonprofit experience. Since 2016, Jake has served as a Board Member for After-School All-Stars Tampa Bay, one of the largest after-school program providers in the country, keeping children safe & prepared to succeed in school and life. 

Under Jake’s leadership, the organization has been recognized with prestigious awards & nominations including;

Born and raised in Syosset, NY. Jake is a graduate of Florida State University, where he captained the FSU Men’s Lacrosse Team, served as D1 Conference Player Representative and earned a B.S. in Sports Management in 2010.
